Scope of works
Undercover Landscapes recently completed the design and construct of the Belrose Children’s Centre for Warringah Council in Belrose NSW. Undercover Landscapes was awarded the tender after designing three different areas of the centre which met the Councils criteria of value for money while providing a design which provides a stimulating and challenging learning environment for the children as well as a visually appealing landscape.
The works were completed in a live Child Care Centre so it was imperative that our WH&S systems
ensured a safe working environment not only for our workers, but also for the carers and their children.
The project consisted of the design and construction of sensory paths, natural stone sand pits, meeting places, hardwood timber stage, decks and stairs, water play channel with pump, decorative concrete, garden beds, synthetic turf, galvanised and stainless steel arbour tunnels, vegetable gardens, sandstone walls and seating.
Undercover Landscapes worked closely with Warringah Council and the Centre Managers to build an
attractive, challenging landscape that would be the envy of any Child Care provider. Stage 2 and 3
are to come.
Undercover Landscapes skilled tradesmen have built a quality natural child play and education space which has exceeded the expectations of clients.
