Scope of works
Undercover Landscapes were engaged by Burton Contractors to undertake the environmentally sensitive works on the Bio Retention Basins at the new Bunnings Warehouse facility at Eastern Creek.
Work Involved:
Installation of sub-surface drainage covering approx. 5000m2
Over 1000m3 of washed gravel carefully laid over sub-surface lines using positracks
3200m3 of certified Bio Retention Filter Material
Over 32,000 native plants installed into basins
Project Highlights
Due to rain delays and Bunnings urgent need to open the facility, the Burton Contractors programme for the works was very tight and required careful planning from the Undercover Landscapes team to ensure the works were delivered ahead of time and on budget.
Following the extremely successful implementation of the works, Undercover Landscapes were
awarded a further 3 year maintenance contract on the site by the Commercial Manager, Goodman.
